Happy 2011!

Winter time is our time for planning for the months ahead. We’re already working on our 2011 summer plans for “One World, Many Stories” the national summer reading theme for kids. The teen theme is  “You Are Here” and the adult theme is “Novel Destinations“.  We hope local residents from non US cultures might like to share their culture with children and teens – language, music, art, food and eating (ie. chopsticks), clothing,  and any items from a culture like toys or dolls or other artifacts.  Contact us at justkids@wwlibrary.org

Our annual Kids Love the Library Book and Bake Sale by the Mom’s Club of West Warwick and Coventry will be held Saturday February 12, 2011. This month we will accept GENTLY used children books, movies and cds for that sale.  Please bring them to the Youth Department.  Funds raised by the Mom’s Club have funded youth department programs.
